  5. The Freight Calculator module automatically calculates and applies freight
  6. charges to any shipment. You can create rate tables for each shipping company
  7. you use and the different types of service they offer. The freight is
  8. calculated based on the total weight of the order and the destination. Charges
  9. can be applied according to the destinations zip code, state, or country. You
  10. can also quote freight charges for a customer before an order is entered. The
  11. shipping tables include the shipper's rate tables, the shipping zone tables,
  12. insurance fee tables, COD charge tables, and zones for countries, states, or
  13. zip codes. This module produces a report of tables for each freight carrier, a
  14. list of all freight companies, displays or prints zone charts, and rate and
  15. zone charts.
